· What is DiagramArt?

DiagramArt offers free OPEN DIAGRAMS and low-priced royalty free diagrams using the credit (1 credit = $1.00) or subscription system. A member can buy credits or a subscription plan and download images at affordable prices. Contributors who sell images are paid a commission based on the type of license purchased. Commissions start at 20% and go as high as 50%.

· What is "OPEN DIAGRAM"?

The "OPEN DIAGRAM" as a category of diagrams, is representing collection of diagrams created by DiagramArt communities. These Diagrams are free to use, change and distribute under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.

· Is DiagramArt membership free?

Yes, memberships on DiagramArt is free - and it takes just 30 seconds to sign up. Join right now!

· What is a “credit”?

Credits are DiagramArt's currency. We convert currency into credits, and you use credits to download diagrams. 1 credit = $1.00 (USD). Credits cost less when you purchase in larger quantities.

· What does “royalty free” mean

A royalty free license allows you to use a diagram without restrictions on the time or number of uses, change, upload updated version back to DiagramArt.com or the number of prints.

• Why was I automatically re-billed?

Unless you manually opt out, you will be automatically enrolled in our re-billing program. You may cancel your subscription at any point from within your Account Details. If you do not cancel your subscription, you will be re-billed three days before your current subscription expires

• What is the difference between a Subscription and Credits?

1. Subscription is a Service which allows you download any digital content marked as “0 CR” (zero credits) , or labeled “Free” from DiagramArt Library
2. Credit (CR) is internal currency used to pay for digital content with value greater than zero. Users can buy credits and pay for digital content. Authors (Sellers) receive credits if someone buys their digital content (as royalties), which is transferred (after conversion) on their accounts in local currency.

• The system won't charge my credit card. Is there something wrong?

If the system is not accepting your credit card, please verify all of the information that was entered, including the credit card number, expiration date, and cvv (security) code. If your credit card is still being declined please contact the company that issued your card for more information.

• Can you contact the author and research a particular digital content for me?

We provide detailed descriptions of each digital content on our site. We don’t contact authors and we don’t provide author contact. We apologize for the inconvenience.

• Can I sell diagrams on DiagramArt?

Yes you can! Please fill out Author related information in you account profile and upload first diagram! This will automatically assign Author ID to your digital content and let you sell your portfolio.

• What browsers are compatible with this website?

DiagramArt is compatible with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

• What are the limits on downloads?

There’s no limit as long as you have active subscription or you buy digital content with credits.

• Can I share my username/password with friends/colleagues?

No. According to our Terms and Conditions only one user is allowed to use your account.

• How do I purchase a subscription?

Visit the profile and select the subscription plan that’s best for you.

• Does my browser need to be able to accept cookies?

DiagramArt uses cookies to hold your username and/or password. No credit card or purchasing data is stored in the cookie. Also, no personal information is stored in any DiagramArt.com cookie.

• After my membership expires, can I continue to use the digital content I downloaded?

Absolutely.

• What is your refund policy?

Since our service is focused on upload / download of digital content owned by third parties (Authors), we regret that we cannot provide refunds.

• Can I download the same image more than once?

DiagramArt does allow a "re-download" anytime. All your digital content is accessible under “My Profile” tab. For the subscription plans, you can access images you have already downloaded as long as your account is active.

• What if I forgot my username or password?

No problem. Just push the “Forgot your password?” link on the Login page to have your username and password sent to your email address.

• Does the digital content I download have a watermark on it?

Digital Content downloaded with a purchased subscription or paid with credits will not be watermarked.

• If I modify any Digital Content, can I claim copyright to that Content?

You may modify any digital content and use it; however, you may not claim copyright to that content. DiagramArt and/or its suppliers continue to own all contents, whether or not they have been modified.

• What is a derivative work?

US Copyright law defines a "derivative work" as a work that is based on (or derived from) one or more already existing works, is copyrightable if it includes what the copyright law calls an “original work of authorship.” Derivative works, also known as “new versions,” include such works as translations, musical arrangements, dramatizations, fictionalizations, art reproductions, and condensations. • Can I use Digital Content that I download in work-for-hire?

Yes. You can use any digital content from DiagramArt for a customer/client project. Please indicate to your client that they do not own and do not have the rights to sell the individual images.
